INTRODUCTION

Dr. Amitabh has 17 years of experience in dealing with patients with various brain and spine disorders. He did his neurosurgical training at a reputed institute, Sree Chitra Tirunal of Medical Sciences and Technology. Additionally, he received training at Bengaluru’s esteemed National Institute of Mental Health and Sciences. He has experience with various surgeries like complex brain tumors, clipping of aneurysms, AVMs, epilepsy, deep brain stimulation, spine surgeries, and endoscopic and minimally invasive surgeries.

Practicing in Delhi for the past 14 years, he had previously worked at MAX Hospital, BL Kapoor Hospital, and Indian Spinal Injuries Center. He was heading Fortis Hospital in Shalimar Bagh before leaving for the United States in 2017 to pursue advanced training and clinical fellowships in neuro-oncology, stereotactic radiosurgery, and functional neurosurgery from the University of Virginia and AGH, Pittsburgh, respectively. He is also trained in endo-skull base surgery from Ohio State Medical Center and has been an NTRI fellow at the prestigious Alfred Hospital in Melbourne, Australia. He has publications in highly acclaimed international journals and numerous presentations at various national and international scientific meetings.
