INTRODUCTION:

Dr. Anuja Anand has done her MBBS from Lady Hardinge Medical College and Smt. Sucheta Kriplani Hospital; her postgraduate degree from the Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences, Delhi; and her DNB (Nuclear Medicine) from Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai. She has extensive experience in all aspects of nuclear medicine, both diagnostic and therapeutic, and is an expert on reporting PET-CT and various gamma camera imaging and SPECT-CT. Her fields of interest are high-dose radioiodine therapy for well-differentiated thyroid cancer, PRRT (peptide receptor radionuclide therapy) for neuroendocrine tumors, and Lu-177 PSMA therapy for the treatment of metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer. She also has experience in trans arterial radioembolization (TARE) for liver tumors, radiation synovectomy, radio synoviorthesis for benign knee pathologies, bone pain palliation therapies with SM-153 and SM-89 for extensive bone metastasis, intraoperative use of a handheld gamma probe for sentinel lymph node mapping, and parathyroid adenoma localization. She has published articles in various national and international journals and is an active member of the Society of Nuclear Medicine, India (SNMI) and the Association of Nuclear Medicine Physicians of India (ANMPI).
