INTRODUCTION:

Ex-Major, Army Medical Corps, Indian Armed Forces, with varied exposure to Emergency Medical Services in peace and disaster situation. She is proud to have had the opportunity to serve the nation along with the forward troops in J&K during the Kargil war in 1999. In the aftermath of the disastrous earthquake in Bhuj, Gujarat, on 26th Jan 2001, she was fortunate to be deployed in Ratnal village to provide medical support to the earthquake victims, as a member of the medical team from Army Medical Corps.

She was the Head of Emergency Services and Urgent Care, Moolchand Hospital, a multispecialty hospital in South Delhi from 2007 to 2012, a JCI and NABH accredited hospital. She has done a certificate course in NABH standards and participated in Internal Counselor Program on NABH standards conducted by Quality Council of India.

She is a certified American Heart Association Instructor for BLS and ACLS.

She is certified provider for PALS and ATLS. She is motivated towards Emergency Medicine, and dedicated towards its practice and awareness amongst the public. I want to put my best efforts for safe practices in Emergency medical care.
