INTRODUCTION:

As an MCh. Surgical Oncologist, Dr. Tapan Singh Chauhan specializes in Hepatopancreatic biliary Oncology, Peritoneal Surface Malignancy, and Gastrointestinal Oncology (HIPEC). He completed his Master of Surgery degree from the esteemed Pt. B.D. Sharma PGIMS Rohtak. Two of the best oncology centres in the country, Gujarat Cancer Research Institute in Ahmedabad and Dr. B.R.A. IRCH, AIIMS, New Delhi, are where he acquired his surgical oncology training. In order to further his interests in GI oncology and minimally invasive surgery, He held many fellowship positions with Dr. T. Subramaneshwar Rao at the Indo-American Cancer Institute, Hyderabad (MIS), and Prof. Marcus Buechler in Heidelberg (HPB oncology). He received an ESSO Fellowship in Minimal Access Surgery (FMAS) and a Fellowship in Cytoreductive Surgery and HIPEC at Lyon, France, both under the direction of Prof. Olivier Glehen. He is recognized for having presented papers at numerous national and international conferences and for having multiple publications in prestigious journals.
