INTRODUCTION:

Dr. Gopal Kumar is an expert in surgical oncology, medical oncology, and head & neck surgical oncology, with over 15 years of invaluable experience. Specializing in robotic and minimally invasive procedures for head and neck cancers, he has a remarkable track record in the field. He honed his skills during his tenure at Medanta—The Medicity, Gurugram, where he served in the Head and Neck Department from 2014 to 2023.

Further enhancing his expertise, he pursued advanced training in robotic and endoscopic head and neck surgery at Yonsei Cancer Center and Severance Hospital in Seoul from 2019 to 2020. He holds a special interest in organ preservation and recurrent carcinoma surgery of the tongue, base of the tongue, larynx, and hypopharynx, along with robotic neck dissection and thyroid surgery.

Additionally, he provides voice rehabilitation with injection laryngoplasty and swallowing treatments for head and neck conditions. He has successfully performed over 200 cases of robotic head and neck surgery. Currently practicing at Apollo Hospitals Indraprastha in New Delhi, he has done his MBBS and MS and pursued advanced fellowships from famous institutions in Seoul, South Korea, and New York.
