INTRODUCTION:

Dr. Mukul Verma has done his MBBS, MD (medicine), and DM (neurology) from the prestigious King George’s Medical College, Lucknow, where he pursued his teaching and research interests as a pool officer in neurology for a few years before joining Regency Hospital, Kanpur, as a senior consultant neurologist and single-handedly setting up and establishing a very successful neurology department there. He is a general neurologist but is more interested in movement disorders, headaches, and multiple sclerosis. In 2004, he attended courses and special training in the United States on movement disorders. He is the principal investigator in several clinical trials on Parkinson’s disease, headaches, and multiple sclerosis, and he has several publications to his credit.
