INTRODUCTION:

Dr. Neema Sharma is the Director of the Department of Minimal and Natural Access Gynae Cancer Surgery, she has nineteen years of experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology which includes postgraduate training, Senior Residency from Safdarjung Hospital, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) as Research Associate and training at Mid Essex Hospital NHS Trust, England. With a PG degree in obstetrics and gynaecology (MD), she has research experience, award-winning papers along-with other papers and poster presentations to her credit and has actively participated in various professional conferences and courses to keep abreast with the latest in this field.

 She has experience in doing laparoscopic surgeries and other Gynae surgeries. She is the chairman of the Endoscopic Committee of the Association of Obstetrics and Gynaecologists of Delhi (AOGD) for the years 2015-2017 and was the editor of the AOGD bulletin for the year 2014-2015. She is a regular trainer for Gynae Endoscopy TLH Courses at the Ethicon Institute of Surgical Education and a trainer for hands-on laparoscopy hysteroscopy courses at Fortis Fit Lt Rajan Dhall Hospital. She has been awarded the MRCOG degree in a convocation held on 19th May 2006 in London.
