Dr. Rakesh Sapra is a renowned Cardiologist & has been associated with Marengo Asia Hospitals since September 2014 as Director & Senior Consultant of Cardiology. Prior joining to Marengo Asia Hospital, he was the Head of Cardiology at Fortis Escorts Hospital, Faridabad, for nearly 5 years and was also Head of Cardiology at Artemis Hospital, Gurgaon for 3 years. He has overall 25 years of experience and he has independently performed around 15000 vascular interventions including balloon valvotomies, coronary angioplasties, peripheral angioplasties renal and carotid angioplasties, and congenital interventions including PDA and ASD closures. His main interest is in the field of electrophysiology and he has performed numerous radiofrequency ablations including complex ablations using electromagnetic CARTO mapping.
