INTRODUCTION:

Dr. Arun Garg is a best Neurologist and he is the head of the stroke neurology at Medanta. His main vision is to develop “brain rescue” programme for immediate and long-term management of individuals with stroke, covering the entire north India with an epicentre at Medanta. In north India, he has created a three-tiered system wherein a network of ambulances and telemedicine connects the hub hospital, Medanta-the medicity, Gurgaon, to the primary and secondary brain rescue centers. In this region of the nation, he is credited for pioneering the use of thrombolysis in acute stroke cases. In addition to acute stroke therapy, he is interested in post-stroke neuro-rehabilitation, which Medanta offers fully functionally with the assistance of a multidisciplinary team.
