INTRODUCTION:

Dr. A. S. Soin has done more than 2500 liver transplants in India. He left Sir (Ganga Ram Hospital) in the year of 2010 along with his team and took over the first of its kind dedicated Institute for Liver Transplantation in Asia and one of the very few in the world. It is a comprehensive facility with a team of 500 members, with the following state-of-the-art features: A 150 bedding facility,  exclusively for patients suffering from terminal liver disease, a dedicated Liver ICU of 22 beds, liver cancer and those undergoing liver transplant,  a dedicated centre for Paediatric Liver Diseases and Transplantation, four Ultramodern OTs for liver transplants and complex liver surgery which enables us to perform routinely two and sometimes 3three liver transplants in a day.
