INTRODUCTION:

Dr. Munish Kumar Chauhan is an alumnus of the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, one of the premier medical colleges in India. He has worked as a medical officer in the Department of Medicine at the ESI Corporation of India. He did his M.D. (anaesthesiology) from Dr. S.N. Medical College, Jodhpur, and then his DNB (anaesthesiology). He further did a Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine (FNB CCM) from Indraprastha Apollo Hospitals, Sarita Vihar, Delhi, through the National Board of Examinations (NBE). He was associated with the Max Hospital, Pitampura, Delhi, where he was given the ‘Best Consultant Award’ and ‘Most Loved Doctor Award’ in recognition of his clinical skills, patient management, and his honest, humble demeanour. He is a certified AHA instructor for BLS and ACLS courses. He is a recognized teacher for various critical care courses recognized by ISCCM, like CTCCM and IDCCM. He is also a recognized teacher for the DrNB Critical Care Medicine course run by NBE. He has several research publications in various journals and has contributed to chapters in critical care books. He has a keen interest in antibiotic stewardship, ARDS management, patient resuscitation, and DE resuscitation.
