INTRODUCTION:

Dr. Rakesh Chugh has his MBBS from UCMS & GTB Hospital, New Delhi; MS in General Surgery from Safdarjung Hospital; and DNB in Cardiothoracic Surgery from Escorts Heart Institute and Research Centre, New Delhi. He has done more than 4000 cardiac surgeries successfully. He has done his fellowship in minimally accessible cardiac surgery in Leipzig, Germany. He has extensive experience in handling and managing patients with complex cardiac lesions, left main disease, redo CABG, redo valves, minimally accessible CABG, AVR, MVR, and carotid endarterectomy. Dr Chugh is well-versed in vascular and endovascular surgeries, including Porto-bifemoral bypass, femoropopliteal bypass, peripheral angiography, and permafrost thoracic surgeries, including decortication, lobectomies, and VATS. He is a member of the Indian Association of Cardio-Thoracic Surgeons, the Vascular Society of India, the Society of Minimally Invasive Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeons of India, the Indian Medical Association, and the Delhi Medical Association.
