INTRODUCTION:

Dr. Ashish Khattar has his MBBS from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore, and his MD from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal University. He has a 1-year PG Diploma (Diabetology) from a UGC-recognized Himalayan University. Following this, he completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Endocrinology and Diabetes from the Royal College of Physicians (Certificate Course). Further, he has completed a certificate course in diabetes and thyroid recognized by the Public Health Foundation of India in collaboration with Dr. V Mohan’s Diabetes Education Academy, Chennai, the Chellaram Diabetes Institute, and the Asia and Oceania Thyroid Association. His areas of interest include diabetes, geriatric medicine, infectious diseases, thyroid, adult immunology, gastrointestinal disorders, preventive medicine, endocrine disorders, and metabolic disorders. He manages patients in OPD, inpatient, and ICU setups. He has vast experience teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students.
