INTRODUCTION:

Dr. Subroto Datta is an alumnus of the Armed Forces Medical College, University of Pune. His 38 years of experience in clinical practice include over two decades in interventional cardiology and cardiac electrophysiology. He has worked for several institutions and national medical boards as a cardiac examiner. He was Head of Medicine and Cardiology at the Army College of Medical Sciences and Head Professor of Cardiology at the Army Institute of Cardiothoracic Sciences at AFMC Pune and Army Base Hospital, Delhi. He has worked as an electrophysiology and cardiology consultant at Mata Chanan Devi Hospital, BL Kapoor, and Delhi Heart Lung Institute. His sphere of work includes clinical and interventional cardiology, arrhythmia, cardiac electrophysiology, adult and paediatric congenital and ventricular heart disease, device therapy for cardiac pacing, and heart failure.

He routinely performs

• All adult coronary interventions, including left main angioplasty, chronic total occlusion, bifurcation angioplasty, vein graft angioplasty with IVUS, distal protection device, IVUS, OCT, FFR intravascular imaging, hemodynamic-guided CHIP angioplasty, VSR closure, and IVL rotation. 
• Paediatric and Adult Congenital Interventions Device Closure of ASD, VSD, PDA, RSOV, Balloon Valvoplasty, Angioplasty Stenting of the Coarctation Aorta, Renal Carotid, and Other Peripheral Interventions.
