INTRODUCTION:

Dr Atul Sharma has immense experience in the field of Gastroenterology. He received his training at SGPGIMS, Lucknow, one of the top gastroenterology centers in the nation, and then completed a fellowship in advanced interventional GI endoscopy at the prestigious Baldota Institute of Digestive Sciences (BIDS), Mumbai.He has published numerous national and international papers in the fields of interventional gastroenterology, manometry, and luminal gastroenterology during his training.He has given numerous talks and several papers at conferences throughout India.Prior to joining Artemis, he was Head of the Advance Department of Gastroenterology and Hepatology at W-Pratiksha Hospital in Gurugram.Many novel procedures, including ERCP, EUS, ESD/EMR, Colonic Transit Study, Esophageal/Anorectal Manometery, and Per Oral Endoscopic Myotomy (POEM), were initiated by him when he was employed there.
