INTRODUCTION:

In the field of spine and orthopaedic surgery, Dr. Dheeraj Batheja has performed thousands of procedures throughout the course of his more than ten years of experience. After completing his studies at the esteemed Maulana Azad Medical College in Delhi and his post-graduation work at the University College of Medical Sciences and GTB Hospital in Delhi, he worked for more than two years exclusively in spine surgery at The Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital NHS Trust in Oswestry, UK, among other tertiary care institutions across the world. Other well-known medical facilities are Western Sussex, UK’s St. Richards Hospital, Worthing University Hospital, and Chichester. Additionally, he completed an AO Global Spine Diploma in Davos, Switzerland, under the auspices of AO spine.

He has a keen interest in Minimally Invasive Spine (MIS) surgeries including Minimally Invasive Spine Fusion using a state-of-art Tubular Retractor System and Microscope.
