INTRODUCTION:

Following graduation from the esteemed All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), located in New Delhi, Dr. Meenal Thakral practices geriatrics. After earning her MD in 2019, she spent three years as a Senior Resident in the AIIMS, New Delhi department of geriatric medicine. She has a particular interest in doing thorough geriatric assessments, managing geriatric syndromes, and ortho- and onco-geriatrics. She is renowned for treating problems that elderly individuals experience in a holistic manner. She has four publications to her credit, has presented at numerous national and international conferences, and is a qualified trainer in the Clinical Dementia Rating scale (CDR), which is used to assess cognitive function in the elderly.
