INTRODUCTION:

Dr Rajiv Sharma is working as Head Interventional Radiology in the Department of Radiology. He completed his MD in radiodiagnosis at Ahmedabad’s Shrimati N.H.L. Medical College. He also completed the National Board of Examination’s DNB program in radiology. He has over 23 years of extensive experience in both diagnostic and interventional radiology. He is the head of the interventional radiology sub-department at Artemis. He is the head of the interventional radiology sub-department at Artemis. He is skilled in carrying out a variety of interventional radiology procedures, such as tumor embolization, hepato-biliary, and vascular. In addition, he has been doing breast and prostate biopsies using ultrasound and CT guidance. He has recently additionally completed MRI, VABB Assisted, and ultrasound guided biopsies. In addition to supervising many DNB thesis programs, he teaches DNB students. He is in charge of an interventional radiology fellowship program. Along with attending numerous conferences and workshops, he is the author of multiple scholarly papers that have been published in both national and international journals. He has planned multiple CMEs and is a competent administrator in addition to being a sound academic.
