INTRODUCTION:

As secretary general, Dr. Ramesh Khazanchi is chairing the 15th World Congress of the International Confederation for Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery (IPRAS 2009). With more than 25 years of surgical experience, his areas of expertise include head and neck reconstruction, vascular abnormalities, reconstructive microsurgery, cosmetic surgery, and the replantation of severed components. In addition, he has completed twenty-two research projects, written and edited a book on plastic surgery for general surgeons, published more than sixty papers in national and international publications, and contributed four chapters to textbooks.
