Vice-Chairman of Medical Oncology at Medanta in Gurugram is Dr. Satya Pal Kataria. He is an authority in the field of medical oncology, having worked for more than 27 years in a number of reputable government medical facilities. He has completed his MBBS and MD (General Medicine) at JIPMER, Pondicherry. He attended AIIMS, New Delhi, for his senior residency and superspecialty training in medical oncology. Over the course of his more than 27-year employment at VMMC Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi, he advanced from Senior Resident to Head of Department in Medical Oncology before coming to work for the Medanta Family. He has various publications, articles and chapters published in prestigious Indian and International journals (32).
