Northern India was first introduced to the practice of surgical oncology and the idea of organ-based specialty in oncology by Dr. Rajeev Agarwal, a distinguished surgical oncologist and breast specialist. In addition to sentinel node biopsy and breast reconstruction, he is a specialist in breast conservation surgery. Induction into the European Society of Medical Oncology has also been granted to him. As a skilled Surgical Oncologist, he oversees Medanta Gurugram’s Soft Tissue Tumor treatments. He has extensive experience working in a variety of facilities, including Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi and Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai.
