INTRODUCTION:

Children with cancer and blood abnormalities are treated by Dr. Satya Yadav at Medanta Hospital in Gurugram, India. His primary areas of clinical interest are bone marrow transplantation (BMT) and paediatric leukaemia. His objective is to make BMT and cell therapy accessible and inexpensive for everyone who need them. Following his completion of his paediatric training in Delhi, he moved to Sydney, Australia, where he served as a fellow in paediatric haemato-oncology at The Children’s Hospital at Westmead from 2002 to 2005.With more than 20 years of expertise, he established prosperous paediatric BMT programs at Medanta, Fortis Gurgaon, and Sir Ganga Ram Hospital. He along with his colleagues has been involved in performing over 1000 Blood & Marrow transplants and Cell Therapies He has performed Matched related & unrelated donor transplants/Cord blood transplants and Haplo Identical Bone Marrow transplants for thalassemia, sickle, leukaemia, aplastic anaemia, primary Immune deficiency and metabolic disorders. Cell Therapy including CAR-T Cell therapy, Virus specific T-cell therapy and Donor lymphocyte infusions is another key area of interest He has published in various national and international journals with over 1000 citations. He has more than ten years of experience as a teaching faculty member for the Fellowship of the National Board of Examinations (FNB) in Paediatric Haematology Oncology. His instruction has been acquired by over thirty fellows in paediatric haematology oncology who are working as consultants both within and outside of India.
