INTRODUCTION:

At Medanta Medicity Hospital, Dr. Jyoti Sehgal has been the director and neurologist since 2010. In Hyderabad, she received clinical neurology training from Dr. JMK Murthy. Stroke, electrophysiology, and critical care in neurology are her areas of interest. She was a pioneer in having the Medanta stroke code activated because she feels that treating stroke patients is truly a team effort including the collaboration of several specialties under one roof. She is very interested in electrophysiology, which is the study used to diagnose neuropathies, injuries to the brachial plexus, and muscular problems.
