INTRODUCTION:

Dr Manish Jain began his professional career 1996 MBBS Graduate from PGIMS Rohtak and then did Post graduation MD (Medicine) and later specialization in Nephrology DM (Nephrology) from Chennai. After there, he completed a clinical fellowship at Vancouver, Canada’s University of British Columbia. He first began working as an assistant professor at Meenakshi Medical College Kanchepuram after receiving his DM, where he also founded the department of nephrology and the dialysis facility. After there, he completed a clinical fellowship at Vancouver, Canada’s University of British Columbia. After completing Clinical Fellowship from Vancouver Canada, he joined Medanta The Medicity in 2010 where he is currently working as Director in Division of Nephrology & Renal Transplant Medicine. His areas of specialty are renal problems, with a focus on dialysis and kidney transplantation. For his exceptional work and ongoing contributions to the community and society, he has received awards from the Indian College of Physicians (FICP) and the Indar Society of Nephrology (FISN).He has published and presented more than 50 articles in various books, journals and various conferences including Chapter on Kidney Transplantation in elderly and those with diabetes published in prestigious OXFORD Book on Renal Transplantation in Developing Countries He is Co Editor for book Case Studies in Nephrology A practical Approach. This book will be helpful for practicing Physicians for their day to day practice and this book will also benefit nephrology fellows, post graduate students who are preparing for their Nephrology Exams. He served as a guide and teacher for DNB Nephrology. Numerous national and international societies have made him a life member. His work and zeal are admirable. He has coordinated free medical check-up camps and is quite involved in the social service sector. He has implemented a number of social initiatives to raise awareness of kidney illnesses and the need for early detection and prevention.
