INTRODUCTION:

A director at Medanta’s Critical Care Unit is Dr. Tariq Ali. His areas of expertise are bronchoscopy, invasive vascular procedures, hemodynamic monitoring, and ventilator-assisted respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS). He has above 23 years post MD experience in Anaesthesia and Intensive Care and above 16 years of exclusive ICU experience. He passed EDICM (European Diploma in Intensive Care) and stood in top 10% and was awarded the ICU special award at Mater Hospital Brisbane (2009). In 1999, he also passed the Emirates Licensing Examination. He worked as a medical specialist in Bahrain at Salmanya Hospital. During his time at school, he also won first place in the Zonal Medical College Symposium in Chandigarh and Aligarh.
