INTRODUCTION:

The associate director of the Medanta Institute of Critical Care and Anaesthesiology is Dr. Pravin Saxena. He received his MBBS and MD from Maulana Azad Medical College in New Delhi, specializing in anaesthesiology and critical care. Harvard Medical School in Boston, USA provided him with training in both anaesthesia and advanced paediatric intensive care unit. He has worked as an Associate Professor in Department of Critical care & Cardiac Anaesthesiology in All India Institute of Medical Sciences (New Delhi) and as a Senior Consultant in Department of Critical care & Anaesthesiology at Max Heart and Vascular Heart Institute (Saket, New Delhi) previously. He has a number of publications in various national and international journals too.
