INTRODUCTION:

One of the nation’s most experienced paediatric intensivists and pulmonologists is Dr. Rajiv Uttam. He spent 12 years receiving training and working in a top hospital in the United Kingdom. He has treated ill children for almost 40 years, treating a wide range of conditions. In important corporate hospitals in Delhi, he played a key role in the establishment of pulmonology and paediatric intensive care units (PICUs). He served as vice chancellor and a founding member of the Indian Academy of Paediatrics’ (IAP) paediatric critical college.
