INTRODUCTION:
With over 22 years of expertise, Dr. Rajneesh Kachhara is a seasoned neurosurgical practitioner. In 1994, he received training from the globally renowned Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute for Medical Sciences and Technology (SCTIMST), located in Trivandrum, Kerala, where he worked as a senior faculty member and associate professor. He has extensive training in all forms of brain surgery. Microvascular decompression for trigeminal neuralgia, surgery for intracranial aneurysms, pituitary tumors, meningiomas, CP angle tumors, and other complicated brain cancers are among his areas of specific interest. His interests also include treating spine tumors and severe head trauma. He completed skull base surgery fellowships at Keio University School of Medicine in Tokyo, Japan, The George Washington University in Washington, DC, and Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, USA. From November 2003 to August, 2013, he has worked as senior neurosurgeon and head, department of neurosurgery, Bombay Hospital, Indore. He is recognized for having turned it into a premier facility for brain malignancies and neurovascular surgery. He is the author of multiple books and book chapters. He has given talks about his neurosurgical research at numerous national and international conferences. Recently he has been awarded Best Brain Surgeon in Madhya Pradesh by Prime Time Research Media Ltd. at Global Health Care Excellence Awards.
