INTRODUCTION:

Dr. Kanika Rana works as a consultant at Medanta’s Head & Neck Oncology department. Her area of expertise is head and neck surgery, and she has worked at Lok Nayak Hospital. She completed her senior residency at the same department until 2025 after earning her MS in otolaryngology and head & neck surgery from Maulana Azad Medical College in 2012.She completed a clinical observership in head and neck surgery at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore in 2015, and then a fellowship at Medanta Hospital in head and neck oncology surgery. She also did clinical observership at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, Newyork in 2022. Her area of expertise includes surgeries for Oral Cancer, Oropharyngeal Cancer, Carcinoma Larynx, Carcinoma Nose and PNS, Neck Dissection, Thyroid Surgery, Parathyroid Surgery, Laser Microlaryngeal Surgery, Salivary Gland Tumor and Reconstruction of Head and Neck region using Flaps.
