INTRODUCTION:

Dr Rahul Jain is a fully qualified oral and maxillofacial surgeon who underwent training in maxillofacial surgery from KLE Belgaum, Karnataka. After completing his fellowship in craniofacial surgery, he joined the Plastic, Aesthetic, and Reconstructive Surgery department. Additionally, he received certified training at Ganga Hospital in Coimbatore in microvascular surgery. He has dedicated his entire career to improving cranio-maxillofacial reconstructive techniques, which includes developing and advocating for the use of 3D printing and computer assisted planning. Experience Pioneered the development of computer aided facial reconstruction surgery in India. First patient-specific face implants were used in Medanta. Introduced the use of dental implants in mouth cancer patients’ oral rehabilitation.
