INTRODUCTION:

Dr Harkirat Singh Talwar is a motivated, hard-working and an enthusiastic young urologist. Having received training from two of the most prestigious institutions of national significance in India, AIIMS and PGIMER, he is a firm believer in the need of maintaining strong work ethics and, above all, placing patient safety first. He completed a rewarding residency and fellowship in robotic surgery and kidney transplantation at Medanta, Gurugram, and is well-versed in the management and treatment of the majority of common urological conditions. With a zest to keep learning, he hopes to keep upgrading his technical skills and academic knowledge. Trained in managing common urological problems like stone disease, benign prostatic hyperplasia, male health problems, urological cancers, female urology, and neuro-urology. Trained in performing a wide variety of open, laparoscopic, and endourological procedures. Experienced in handling urological emergencies Assisted and performed complex urological procedures including laparoscopic and robotic cases. Been a part of over 150 robotic surgeries. Experienced in handling urological lab catering to services such as ESWL, urodynamics, and diagnostic and interventional urological procedures. Provided training to interns, undergraduate and postgraduate students. trained in emergency protocols, such as cardio-pulmonary resuscitation, mechanical ventilation, endotracheal intubation, and central line placement. A desire to engage in study, good communication skills both in writing and speaking. Excellent patient-doctor interpersonal relationship skills. Able to lead and motivate staff and fellow team members.
