Meera Luthra, MD, is a distinguished pediatric surgeon. Christian Medical College in Ludhiana provided her with her foundational training in surgery, while All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) provided her with her advanced training in pediatric surgery. A clinical fellowship at Melbourne, Australia’s Royal Childrens Hospital came next. Thoracoscopy, minimally invasive surgery, and laparoscopic surgery are her areas of specific interest. She has performed a number of intricate procedures on kids. In a textbook on pediatric intensive care, she wrote chapters on trauma and pediatric bronchoscopy.
