INTRODUCTION:

Following his training at the esteemed Christian Medical College, Vellore, At the esteemed Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai, Dr. Sohet Gogia pursued a residency in neuro-oncology (for both adults and pediatrics). After that, he underwent in-depth fellowship training at Medanta, the Medicality, in minimally invasive and endoscopic neurosurgery, to deepen his knowledge in the field. After thereafter, he gave his knowledge to two well-known Delhi institutions: Lady Hardinge Medical College and Dr. RML Hospital. Being the sole neurosurgeon at Lady Hardinge Medical College, he is acknowledged as a trailblazer in the improvement of neurosurgery outpatient and inpatient consultation services. With a wealth of experience spanning over 13 years and more than 5000 cases, he places utmost importance on the quality of patient care.

His areas of expertise include pituitary surgery, awake brain tumor procedures with substantial use of intraoperative ultrasonography, and neuromonitoring to guarantee complete and safe tumor removal. Furthermore, he is quite skilled in functional neurosurgery, which includes techniques like intrathecal Baclofen pump implantation, spinal cord stimulation, and deep brain stimulation (for Parkinsonism).He is skilled in doing surgery for epilepsy, such as hemispherotomies, which involve disconnections.
