INTRODUCTION:

A.K. Kripalani is a nationally renowned expert in laparoscopic bariatric and gastrointestinal surgery. The “Past President” of the Indian Association of Gastrointestinal Endosurgeons is Dr. Kripalani. He introduced the IAGES fellowship programs, which have now gained widespread recognition and popularity. He is credited for performing the first laparoscopic splenectomy and adrenalectomy in India. He has over 40 years of expertise and has been affiliated with numerous esteemed institutions, including Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi, AIIMS in New Delhi, Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in New Delhi, and Sitaram Bhartia Institute in New Delhi. He is very interested in research and educational initiatives.
