INTRODUCTION:

Dr Anil Kumar Anand has over 39+ years of rich experience to his credit in the field of radiation oncology. Prior to earning his MD (Radiotherapy and Oncology) from the Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGI) in Chandigarh, he completed his MBBS at Dayanand Medical College in Ludhiana. At the New York Hospital Medical Center of Queens, he completed specialized radiation treatment training. Additionally, he completed specialized training at The Middlesex Hospital Medical School in London in radiotherapy for head and neck cancers.  From Max Hospital in Saket, where he served as Principal Director-Radiation Oncology since 2009, He joined FMRI in Gurugram. In the past, he was connected to institutions such as PGI Chandigarh, Batra Hospital and Medical Research Center, New Delhi, and Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute. Stereotactic Body Radiation Therapy (SBRT) in recurrent head and neck cancers is the most recent of Dr. Anand’s numerous scholarly publications. He belongs to the Association of Radiation Oncologists of India, the American Society of Radiation Oncology, and the Indian Society of Oncology. Additionally, he advises scientific bodies such as the WHO, ICRO, and other UN agencies. He is on the Journal of Cancer Research and Therapeutics’ editorial board.
