INTRODUCTION:

One of the nation’s most celebrated and well-known pediatric surgeons and pediatric urologists is Dr. Anand Sinha, M.Ch. Pediatric Surgery (AIIMS, New Delhi), M. Fellow Pediatric Robotic Urology (University of Chicago, Illinois, USA). For the past eight years, he has served as the head of the pediatric surgery department at Fortis Memorial Research Institute and is currently a Senior Consultant. He is still one of the few pediatric surgeons in India who performed robotic surgery on children, having been one of the first to do so. His areas of expertise include robotic surgery and urology in children, endoscopic urology, video-assisted thoracoscopic operations, and minimally invasive surgery in neonates and children, including laparoscopic surgery. Over the past 17 years, he has successfully completed over 10,000 surgical procedures. The department has the most up-to-date tools and expertise to give kids the greatest surgical results. Neonatal surgery is included in his scope. Pediatric thoracic surgery, pediatric solid tumors, pediatric plastic surgery, pediatric urology, pediatric gastrointestinal surgery, and various minor pediatric surgical issues. Under his leadership, the pediatric surgery department has grown to become one of India’s top pediatric surgical care centers, boasting excellent results that are on par with those of any worldwide center, with a low rate of complications and almost nil mortality.The department offers a one-stop shop for all types of pediatric surgical issues in addition to pediatric and newborn critical care, expert pediatric anesthetists, and other pediatric super specialties. Additionally, he is quite interested in research and educational initiatives.
