INTRODUCTION:

With 36 years of clinical experience, Dr. Vikram Sharma, MS (General Surgery) and Diploma in Urology from the Institute of Urology, London, is one of the most seasoned pioneers and innovators in Indian urology. He is the head of robotic urological surgery and the director of urology, andrology, and robotics at Fortis Memorial Research Institute in Gurgaon. He is a recognized expert both domestically and abroad. Additionally, he is an adjunct faculty member and visiting professor of urology at the University of Southern California’s Keck School of Medicine in Los Angeles, California, USA. With numerous surgical advancements to his name, he has been a pioneer in endourology and played a key role in the launch of the Green Light Laser procedure for prostate surgery in India. Additionally, he served as the founding director of the Alpha One Andrology Group, India’s first andrology center solely focused on treating male sexual dysfunction. He has presented at several national and international conferences as a speaker and invited faculty member, and he has extensive experience in robotic and laparoscopic urological procedures. Because of his contributions to the field of urology, he has been widely covered in print, visual, and electronic media. He is also a member of the American and British Urological Associations, two of the top urological organizations and associations in the world.
