INTRODUCTION:

Dr. Piyush works at Fortis Memorial Research Institute as a Consultant in the Neurology & Neurointervention Department. In 2013, Dr. Piyush Ojha earned his MD (Medicine) from MGM Medical College in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, after completing his MBBS at R.N.T. Medical College in Udaipur, Rajasthan. During his postgraduate studies, he received the Gold Medal for the Best Postgraduate Student (2013) from the Department of Medicine. Then, in 2017, he graduated with a DM in Neurology from Government Medical College in Kota. He then completed his Stroke Fellowship at the esteemed Calgary Stroke Program (Canada), one of the top stroke treatment facilities in the world. The Neurointervention Fellowship (FINR) at Medanta-The Medicity in Gurugram, India, was subsequently successfully completed by him. In his nine years of experience, he has managed both inpatient and outpatient neurology patients, including those with acute stroke, epilepsy, headaches, neuromuscular diseases, dementia, movement disorders, Botox injections, and more. His extensive background as a stroke neurology and neurointerventionist has allowed him to undertake both therapeutic neurointervention procedures, such as mechanical thrombectomy, aneurysm coiling, carotid stenting, and AVM embolizations, as well as diagnostic angiograms (cerebral and spinal). Additionally, he has expertise with the newest tools in the field of neurointervention, including intravascular and intrasacular flow diverters.
