INTRODUCTION:

Dr Suman is a practicing Medical oncologist with more than 10+ years of experience in the field of Oncology. She currently works as a senior Consultant at Fortis memorial research centre, Gurugram. At the vanguard of clinical expertise, Christie Hospital in Manchester, UK, is the largest single site comprehensive cancer center in Europe, where she formerly served as a Consultant Medical Oncologist. At Christie Hospital in Manchester, she also finished her Clinical Research Fellowship in Gynecological Malignancies. Here, she has actively participated in multiple phase 1-3 clinical trials as a sub investigator. In order to learn how to best manage malignant bowel obstruction with parenteral nourishment, she also participated in a clinical observership in the Intestinal Failure section at Salford Royal Hospital in the United Kingdom. She is particularly interested in colorectal malignancies and neuro-oncology in addition to gynecological oncology. She firmly thinks that providing the appropriate medication is only one aspect of cancer therapy; another is preserving the patient’s emotional and mental well-being. Maintaining the patient’s quality of life during the entire cancer treatment process is her first goal.
