INTRODUCTION:

Maulana Azad Medical College, Delhi University, Delhi, is where Dr. Ashutosh Marwah earned his MBBS and doctorate in pediatrics. He completed an advanced residency in pediatric cardiology at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, Australia, as well as the Escorts Heart Institute in Okhla. Dr. Ashutosh has been practicing pediatric cardiology for over 20 years. He had worked at several reputable hospitals in the past, including Delhi Heart and Lung Institute, Narayana Hrudayalaya Institute of Cardiac Sciences in New Delhi, Fortis Flight Lt Rajan Dhall Hospital in Bangalore, Vasant Kunj, Fortis Escorts Heart Institute in New Delhi, and Jaypee Hospital in Noida. He was a Senior Consultant in Pediatric Cardiology at Apollo Indraprastha Hospital in New Delhi before joining Fortis Escorts. Interventional closure of cardiac defects, including ASD, VSD, PDA, Coarct balloon dilatation and stenting, implantation of stents in pulmonary arteries, perioperative cardiac interventions for complex cardiac lesions, echo imaging in complex cardiac abnormalities, and fetal echo cardiography, are among the areas in which Dr. Ashutosh is particularly interested.

• More than 700 interventional cardiac catheterizations, including device closure of atrial septal defects, device and coil closure of Patent ductus arteriosus, balloon dilatation of the aortic valve, pulmonary valves, and coarctation of the aorta.
