INTRODUCTION:

Dr. Kaushal Kant Mishra has over 24 years of extensive experience in the fields of trauma, joint replacement, and orthopedics. His “Uncemented Hip Replacement” procedure was the first in Tanzania to be performed by an orthopaedic surgeon. The youngest woman in Nigeria had hip replacement surgery done by him. Between the ages of 70 and 107, he has performed the most hip procedures among the elderly population. In just eighteen minutes, he completed the fastest hip replacement, which is currently being indexed in record books. Additionally, he conducted a hip replacement (hemiarthroplasty) on a 92-year-old man with the smallest skin incision in the world—just 2 inches. Dr. Mishra’s contribution to the founding of the Bone & Tissue bank at AIIMS Delhi is crucial. He was nominated for a “Guinness Book of World Records” entry for performing a hip replacement on a patient who was 107 years old in 2006.
