INTRODUCTION:

Prior to his current position as Executive Director in the Department of Nephrology & Kidney Transplant, Dr. Sanjeev Gulati was an Associate Professor of Pediatric Nephrology at McMaster University in Hamilton, Canada, and an Additional Professor of Nephrology at Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences in Lucknow. He has worked at prestigious facilities in the UK, Australia, and Canada and specializes in treating kidney transplant recipients and kids with renal illnesses. He was a key player in one of the biggest programs in the nation, the Dialysis and Transplant program at SGPGI, Lucknow. In addition to publishing more than 130 scholarly publications in indexed journals such as NEJM, Kidney International, and American Journal of Kidney Diseases, he has presented at numerous national and international conferences. In addition to giving many guest lectures, he has written 20 textbook chapters, including the esteemed Oxford Textbook of Nephrology and Comprehensive Pediatric Nephrology. In addition, he is the author of a book on childhood renal diseases. For his innovative contributions to the study of renal ailments, he has won multiple honors. His work has received recognition from the Indian Council of Medical Research, Indian Academy of Pediatrics, the Indian Society of Nephrology, the Australian College of Pediatrics, Royal college of Pediatrics and Child Health UK Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada and the Japanese Society of Nephrology. He is a member of the Indian Society of Nephrology’s governing body and the vice president of the Indian Society of Organ Transplantation. Nephrology. In addition to his other editorial duties, he reviews for a number of esteemed journals, including Pediatrics, the American Journal of Kidney Diseases, Pediatric Nephrology, and Indian Pediatrics. In an effort to raise public awareness of kidney-related concerns, he has also authored a number of pieces for newspapers and periodicals.
