INTRODUCTION:

Dr. (Lt Gen) Ajit Singh Narula has worked in a variety of tertiary care military hospitals and the Fortis Group of hospitals for more than 40 years. He served as a professor and head of the AFMC in Pune as well as a senior adviser and consultant in medicine and nephrology to the armed forces. He teaches and examines postgraduate students at several medical universities. In the area of nephrology, he has received academic awards. He has received Presidential Awards for his outstanding contribution to the country and was previously the President of India’s Honorary Surgeon.
