With 27 years of experience working at busy cardiothoracic hospitals in Australia and India, Dr. Ritwick Bhuyan is the Director of Cardiothoracic Vascular Surgery at Fortis Escorts, Okhla. He has been involved in around 15,000 open heart operations. Over 7000 open heart surgeries were performed independently during that time, including repairs for ASD, VSD, coronary artery bypass grafting surgery (on and off pump), mitral and aortic valve replacement, minimally invasive mitral and aortic valve replacement, MICS CABG, arterial fibrillation surgery, aortic aneurysm repair, LVAD, and HEARTMATE 2 device implantation.
