INTRODUCTION:

At the Fortis Escorts Heart Institute in New Delhi, Dr. Vijay Kumar serves as the director of interventional cardiology. He performs various angioplasties and valve procedures and has eighteen years of extensive experience in the field of intervention cardiology. In his early years of intervention, he created the institute’s primary angioplasty program and the chest pain pathway. Heart valve therapy is his new area of responsibility at the center, and he plays a significant part in educating doctors and patients about TAVI therapy. He has been actively involved since the program’s inception and has turned it into a high-volume center for TAVI and an excellent valve clinic. He serves as the therapy’s proctor. He is in charge of the institute’s Heart Valve Clinic and TAVR Program. He oversees DNB teaching and training at FEHI as the Program Director. Additionally, he is a member of the Indian National Intervention Council. He participates in a lot of the institute’s trials and publications.
