INTRODUCTION:

Dr. Vishal Rastogi is the director of the Advanced Heart Failure and Interventional Cardiology Program. His experience spans more than two decades. Among Indian physicians, he has the most experience implanting the Impella Left Ventricular Assist Device in critically unwell patients. A skilled interventional cardiologist, Dr. Rastogi has extensive expertise treating patients undergoing complicated coronary treatments, such as percutaneous aortic valve implantation, carotid intervention, peripheral vascular intervention, and rotablation. He is a national proctor for specialized bifurcation stents, rotablation, and coronary imaging such as IVUS and OCT. Additionally, he actively participates in the hospital’s ECMO program. Additionally, he serves on the Indian Heart Journal’s editorial board. In addition to being the lead investigator of numerous interventional and heart failure trials, he is an active researcher.
