INTRODUCTION:

Currently serving as the Director & HOD – Cardiology, Fortis Hospital, Noida (UP) & Director – Cardiology, Fortis Escorts Heart Institute, Okhla, New Delhi. With more than 31 years of extensive interventional practice, Dr. Suman Bhandari (MD, DM, FACC, FESC, FSCAI, FIMSA) is a prominent thought leader in his area and has educated many colleagues, both domestically and abroad. He was born in 1955, earned his MD in medicine from Rohtak in 1981, and then earned his DM in cardiology from AIIMS in 1983. In 1985, he was hired as a consultant cardiologist at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, where he remained till 1988. In 1992, he completed a year of training in “Interventional Cardiology” in Rouen, France, and Leuven, Belgium. He also obtained visiting fellowships at Thorax-Centre in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, and Cleveland Clinic in the United States. He has completed more than 80,000 procedures to date, such as caths, PTCAs, valvuloplasty, etc.
