INTRODUCTION:

With about 30 years of experience, Dr. V. P. Singh is an expert in all areas of neurosurgery, including peripheral, spinal, and cranial nerves. Radiation therapy, brain tumor surgery, cerebrovascular surgery, and epilepsy surgery are the specialties of Dr. Singh. In addition to aggressively using radiosurgery to treat arteriovenous malformations, he has performed over 400 intracranial aneurysm surgeries. As Additional Professor and Unit Head of Neurosurgery at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in New Delhi, he is recognized for having initiated the program for epilepsy surgery and the Gamma Knife Unit. He has also collaborated alongside mentor and colleague Prof. A. K. Banerji at VIMHANS, New Delhi. Along with Prof. Banerji, In 2007, he began working at Apollo Hospital in New Delhi. He worked as a Senior Consultant Neurosurgeon for Apollo.
