At Fortis Escorts Heart Institute & Research Centre in New Delhi, Dr. Aparna Jaswal is a recognized specialist in the fields of cardiac pacing and electrophysiology, particularly biventricular cardiac pacing and electrophysiology, ICD implantation, and catheter RF ablation of complex arrhythmias. She has been actively working in the Department of Cardiac Electrophysiology since joining Escorts Hear Institute in 1988. She has been treating a variety of cardiac arrhythmias with “Radio Frequency Catheter Ablation” and electrophysiological testing. She also completed training at St. Luke’s Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, in cardiac electrophysiology. ‘Certified Cardiac Device Specialist’ is the credential that she holds from IBHRE, HRS. Dr. Aparna Jaswal has been actively involved in national and international research trials and has numerous research initiatives underway. She has received faculty invitations to numerous national and international workshops and symposia. She is credited as being the first electrophysiologist in Mauritius to initiate the EP program in November 2010.
