With more than 15 years of expertise, Dr. Mohd Qaleem is a renowned gastro-surgeon, hepato-biliary specialist, and liver transplant specialist. Advanced Laparoscopic Gastrointestinal (GI) and GI Cancer Surgery are his areas of expertise. Prior to obtaining a DNB-SS (Super-specialty) degree in Surgical Gastroenterology and Liver Transplantation at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in New Delhi from 2012 to 2015, Dr. Qaleem earned his MBBS and MS in General Surgery. He then completed a one-year Senior Registrarship at Apollo Hospital in New Delhi, specializing in Advanced GI Laparoscopy and GI Surgery. He focused on GI, GI tumors, advanced laparoscopic GI surgery, and liver transplantation while working at GIPMER (GB Pant Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research) / GB Pant Hospital, New Delhi, from mid-2016 to December 2017. Dr. Qaleem began working at Fortis Escorts Hospital’s Institute of Liver & Digestive Diseases in Okhla, New Delhi, in January 2018. Prior to his promotion to Consultant in November 2018, he worked as an Associate Consultant in the departments of Bariatric Surgery, GI, HPB, Liver Transplant, and Minimal Access. Proficiency in Liver Transplantation Surgery for the hepato-pancreato-biliary system (HPB) Surgery for gastrointestinal (GI) and GI cancer Advanced HPB and GI Laparoscopic Surgery.
